This was hectic morning. We usually have our party in the afternoon, but I got permission to leave at 10:30 am. I was a little nervous..wondering if I would actually get out of Koyuk because Bering Air did not fly out the day before. Ok, back to the Christmas Party. We of course waited for the students who did not arrive and the kids were so patient. I had them open the presents I gave them: homemade playdoe and a rhyming book. They didn't know exactly what it was. It was so pretty with glitter in it. Then they opened their gift exchange presents. One student got a remote control snowmachine. I couldn't think of better student to get that snowmachine.
Then, I got ready for my flight and the janitors gave me my two boxes full of Christmas presents from Nanna and Mom and Dad. Some neat ones!
